Laltex Group is founded in Hong Kong by Mr J. Mulchand, father to R.J. Mulchand.

1962

UK division of the Laltex Group is established.

1969

Laltex Group purchase their first ever UK premises.

Tesco board of directors are flown by 'Laltex Air' helicopter to the opening of their new store in Irlam, Manchester.

 

1979

Laltex Group acquire Kingsonic Ltd, requiring their first big move - to Derby Street Manchester, a 10,000sq/ft warehouse facility.  

Kingsonic later rebrand as KS Brands Ltd.

1980

Kingsonic produce a variety of interesting advertising campaigns throughout the 80's - including billboard spots, pitch side at Old Trafford and match day sponsoring at Tottenham Hotspur.

1982

Laltex Group acquire Lloytron Electronics Ltd, which rebrands as Lloytron Plc and Sun Coast Merchandise Corporation, Los Angeles, USA.

1982

Kingsonic are one of the sponsors of The World Cup 1982 and produce a football radio with the signatures of the England team.

It launches at Wembley with players Steve Coppell, Phil Neal and Ray Clemence pictured with Ivor Joseph of Kingsonic.

England fail to qualify!

1986

Laltex Group UK start a textile division, RJM International Ltd, specialising in a wide range of hosiery and fashion accessories.

1987

Sunscope is established in the US, focusing on the promotional products industry.

1997

The prestigious award of being a Top 25 Supplier in the promotional products industry is awarded to Sunscope (USA).

1999

Laltex Group move to a 220,000 sq/ft custom built premises in the UK.

1999

Laltex Group open a sourcing office in Ningbo, China.

2000

Laltex Group open a new sales office in New York USA.

2000

Laltex Group UK establishes Premium Portfolio, a new promotional products company offering a wide range of items for distribuition throughout Europe.

2001

Sunscope USA open an office in Philadelphia.

2002

Laltex Group USA establishes GCI, (Geo Group International) a long distance telephone company.

2002

Laltex Group UK established an in-house print studio offering bespoke printing for customers.

2004

Laltex Group open offices in Miami and Dallas, with the promotional division opening offices in Berlin, Germany.

2005

The Chinese government approve the Laltex Group to build a 400,000sq/ft facility in Beliun, a free trade zone.

2006

Sunscope open a 30,000sq/ft sales office and warehouse facility in Mexico City.

2007

Laltex Group UK invest in Maginus ERP to consolidate 9 different operating systems into 1 central system.

2010

Premium Portfolio and KS Brands Ltd launch online stores.

2010

Pencom, specialising in promotional pens, is established and rapidly grows into one of the leading suppliers in the industry.

2011

The internationally recognised quality management standard, ISO9001, is awarded to Sunscope, China.

2012

RJM International expand their portfolio with new brand, Tom Franks, focusing on quality clothing for men and women.

Tom Franks is a contemporary, trend driven fashion range.

2012

Birthday celebrations are underway as the Laltex Group UK, very proudly, turns 50!

2013

Bags HQ is established, specialising in promotional bags.

The range includes shoppers, laptop bags, sports bags, travel bags, notepads and conference folders.

Source It is launched, specialising in bespoke promotional items.

Customers can select from the core range or an entirely bespoke product, sourced and tailored to their specific requirements.

Promotional division of the Laltex Group change their name to Laltex Promo.

Since being established in 1999 they have been known by many names and in 2014 decide to change their name to Laltex Promo.

2023

Fast Fit Promo is launched, specialising in promotional clothing and textiles.
